Interesting day!
This happened on 12-5-07.
Well needless to say my drive home was interesting. I left the in-laws @ 6:30 PM in the middle of the snow we where getting. So traffic was getting on my nerves on Rte 202 so I hit the back streets. I went down this 1 road and kept the Buick in 2 for 4 miles. Road is hilly and twisty. So need less to say it wigged out and started to act up. So i took it home. Now I am stuck driving The Hell Beast. I get her fired up and cleaned off. Take her down the street with little issue. Now I turned to go down the hill. Still no issues so I make a r on to a PA Ave. which is a snow route and that is where it happens. I lose control of the MOnte and hit a road sign pole an bend it back about 2 ft. No at this point I am boiling, not at the fact I hit the pole I am mad at the fact that PA Ave is a snow emergency route and should be cleaned. So I back the Monte off the pole it bounces back. And off to work I SLIDE, threw 2 stop signs and 1 traffic light. Almost got broad sided and got to work. Now I have the chance to check the front bumper cover. I got lucky only a little spot of green where I hit the pole. Lesson learned no job is worth wrecking the Monte for.

RE: Interesting day!
Glad you made it in one piece. I had a 79 Cutlass Supreme that was THE worst vehicle I have ever driven in snow. Even with sandbags in the trunk, that sucker just would not give me any traction when the roads were bad.

Well at least you made it there in one piece, that's fortunate. I got broad sided 6 months ago and I'm going to the chiropractor 3 days a week to align my neck and back correctly. Keep the HELL BEAST locked up for now lol
