I know what it is like to think thousands of thoughts and be unable to sleep.. i don't know why. i can usually focus on one thing long enough to get it done though. my mind is almost always racing with other thoughts.. i can bounce from topic to topic pretty fast.... my closer friends have gotten used to it.

Bill Engvall describes this in his new album... about how a group can be talking about say... birds. Then all of a sudden Bill asks something about how fish came to like worms... and although you will eventually get around to talking about birds again... you got to take that little trip about fish and worms with him.

Thats kind of what I am like... people who don't know me are sometimes like "What the hell is this guy talking about?" While those who know me are like "hey, get used to it"

Cowboy, they have a name for what you have, it's called, "Attention Deficit Disorder" or A.D.D. and you may even be "Hyper" too, and that is A.D.H.D., they have drugs for it today. When I was a kid they something else for it, itwas called, "A Belt!" Both work, but I think the Belt worked faster. lol

 

Haha, yep, the "drug" I got was called a belt.

 

My mother has yelled at my father for years cause very little bothers him. He can let "Whatever" roll right off while my mother has worried herself to death. I know my father's one for not dwelling in the past and if you get right down to it, by the time you read this, it's in the past.
So was my just typing that.





Dusty is right, we simply don't want to fgo there, and yet I do. Just for a day. I would want to feel how is feels to think a million thoughts a day, instead of my 6, and like Dusty said four of them thinking about sex. Food, Drink, Sex, TV, You Guys, more food, more drink, more sex, more sex, more sex, poop, more food, more sex, more drink, more sex... LOL (just teasing)

We all know women we'd swear if they had one thought in their head they'd be dangerous. But there's men like that too.

A guy I've been friends with for over 20 years is like this. He's one of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet but some times he makes you wonder if he's playing with a full deck of cards?

I'm just as capable of having a thousand (or million) thoughts going through my head as anyone. My g/f swears I think about sex 24/7. Not true however. I think about food at least 4 times a day.

My poor wife... Beingpositive minded & religous I never worry about anything longer than a fleeting moment. Even with my car, the worse little negative zone I have been in, in a long time, it was a dayand half. Poor thing worries about everything, and I tell, not to worry baby, I prayed, it isgone. But she chooses to worry right up until it is done. God has never failed me, so I just don't let myself get out of joint. The wife worries for days and gets mad at me once in while, but I look at her and she'll go, "I know, you prayed and its done!" and I'll go, "Yep"

 

Sounds like a manufacturing defect. Maybe you can have that repaired under warranty. [sm=icon_rofl.gif]
