Default ICE (Incase Of Emergency)

ICE (Incase Of Emergency)…… This is trying to go around the word for cell phone users. What this does is, if you ever get into a terrible accident and there is know way the Medic, EMS, or Police Officer can speak to you due to your condition, they could pick up your cell phone and scroll through your phone book and the word ICE next to some one you would designate as a contact person incase of an emergeny. Now this emergency response person could contact that person and let them know the situation and ask any pert ant information about your self (ex. Name, address, DOB, SSN, medications, allergies, history and so on)
Let’s face it, everyone has cell phones now days, this would help the emergency response personnel a lot. Also, God for bid if any thing would happen to you where you get into that condition, at least if you’re the contact person you could help that family member or friend out by giving the info the emergency personnel need.
I think it’s a great idea and should be passed along every where.
This came up during the terrorist attacks to Great Britain; the emergency personnel said that it would have been easier if this was used by most people.

Yeah, I heard about this a few weeks ago, still haven't done it yet though. But my family has and I will too, eventually.
