The site has an auto-censor for certain words. The first three letters in t-i-t-l-e trip the censor. The mods have no control over this. We find it just as annoying as you do.

'94-96 Impala SS's have held their value EXTREMELY well, and the police versions are basically the same cars. The SS's are very plentiful, and easy to find. Problem is they get squat for milage. Rock solid cars, tho. TANKS

Those were good cars, and pretty fast for the day. Some of the early police versions came with a standard 4.3 V-8, and were dogs.

Cort - I think you did good in running away fromthat deal. Perhaps the more interesting question is why were you considering that car in the first place? I've never driven one, but a 190 hp V-6 in a car that weighs more than 3,700 pounds cannot be a good thing - especially at that price. [:-]I've made plenty of buying mistakes over the years, but I think I've finally learned my lesson.

Chargers look sweet, but I would never buy one (even an SRT-8) because it's a four-door. Now, if they ever come out with a two-door version, I'll be tempted to at least take a look. However, with the Challenger due in showrooms before long, I think the chances of ever seeing a Charger coupe are pretty slim.

i love the new monte's don't get me wrong. but they do lose half their resale value as soon as it leaves the car lot. so if your going to buy monte carlo. your intention should be to keep it.
