Mr Monte,
Great Thread...Thanks for creating & sharing...
I've enjoyed & learned...I do believe that American Auto Maker's can learn something from the Korean Auto Company Hyundai 4-Sure...

There sure is a lot of them being sold....
Is it their product or super warranty or both ?

They're copying the look of more expensive cars. Not the quality.

Although I don't know what they were thinking when they copied the Chrysler 200.

Dang, it sure does! The only differences I can see are the grille and the headlights. The Genesis has a divider in the middle, where as the 200 doesn't.

Hi Lou; I hate to be the bearer of bad news here but your comparison doesn't work. The Chrysler 200 is a remake of the old Sebring with a face lift. Without the face lift this is no comparison. The Hyundai was on the market before the face lifted Chrysler 200/Sebring. Sorry.

Well, somebody stole something from someone. Could it be Chrysler stole the look of a Hyundai?

Lou you made laugh and I thank you as I've had a lousy afternoon. I will start a thread on that later. Look for welcome to Cuba or Russia. Chrysler is struggling to make a success of the Sebring and Fiat the entire Chrysler line. The 200 is supposed to be a loose copy of the 300 which could be a copy of the Genesis. That fits, new company, resurrection, Genesis. Ok I know it was a stretch. But it seems Chrysler copied Hyundai. Who wudda thunk it? I think the face lifts of both the 300 and the 200 suck. Just my opinion. Gregg

hyundai or however its spelled lol. has really *** up in the world. you still cant find parts for half of their issues. and they try to copy mercedes i think in styling. they can't keep up with most things on the road and the genesis doesn't sell much around here. i dont see em at leaast. but mercedes is like bosch. they buy and take plans from companies then sell the rights back to them. yuppies buy mercedes and wanna be yuppies buy hyundai. kia has improved a lot but i still wouldn't but one due to availability of parts same as hyundai and merc. i guess they r all the same in that regard

That's funny - I never really though about the designs to be so similar. That's one reason why I love my Montes - there is not any other car out there that closely resembles them!
