Tropical Storm Emily or Hurriance Getting prepared

 

'Space I did think of you when I saw Emily's projected path.

I hope it gets weaker and not stronger!! and perhaps heads towards Mexico instead

 

Our heat hasn't been that bad but about once a week we get some crazy severe thunderstorm that hits the area. About once a week there is always some area that has lost power too from downed trees. We broke the record for July for the most rainfall - crazy.

 

We tied the record for most July days above 90. 22

 

We here in the Phoenix AZ valley are just plain hot.
Yesterday at my house, it hit 114 with 40% humidity. That is until a Monsoon wind/rain storm came thru, then it turns to 100% humidity, while staying just as hot.

For the months of July thru Aug, the temp very rarely goes below 100 deg even at night. And it is not a DRY HEAT.....

 

Hot here in Lansing too but I see other temps and feel I should be happy with what we got... High 90s and humid.

During the MIS car show it was 107 in the infield.
