Default How much do you spend on groceries?

This is something I really just wanna find out and be over with cause every time me and the wife go big grocery shopping we end up blowing $300 give or take (75% Walmart, 25% caputos). I think that's a lot of money every two weeks she says my head is in thin air cause everyone else spend more (she seems very confident in that answer every time) but I don't believe her one bit.

So on average for my family (2 adults, 2 toddlers) we spend $550-$700 a month on groceries alone (not counting days she slacks on the cooking and I have to order Resturant meals.)

Compare to the rest are we blowing more of less than the average joe?

That is a lot of money? there is just two of us now, my wife and I, and we spend about 100$ a week, if that! of course I work 5 nights a week,so we don't cook every night, eat out a couple times a week and no young kids., but that seems like a lot to me even when we had young ones?? do you use coupons etc?? if not, try it!! lol

For a 16 yr old, 15 yr old, 13 yr old, 3 yr old, 15 month old my wife and I we spend about 640 a month. The teens eat a little breakfast before school. Then eat at school so that helps. I eat out at work everyday, so if you add that in that's another 200 a month plus we go maybe another 300 for all of us to eat out throughout the month. Wife and I both work so that helps too. Oh yeah we also get the teenagers friends over after school almost everyday. Maybe a total of 1200 +/-.
