If I am in office, I am at a computer answering the phone, following up on vm's and inputting data in regards to client visits and such, or workers. When out of office I am working off of my blackberry (soon to be an ipad) and laptop if out of office all day.

When I get home the tv is always on, more for background noise than anything else, with the exception of a few chosen tv shows, Person of Interest and The Mentalist and of course Big Bang Theory that I try to watch faithfully. But I surf the internet for a few hours each night looking for movies and seeing what is out there in the world.

SO unfortunately technology dictates a large portion of my day is spent enjoying it's benefits just for work.

There are 4 TVs on in the warehouse all day.

When you work at the cable tv company, a tv is mandatory. I start with morning news, then it's left on while working. Catch a glimpse of whatever is on during the day and you don't need to watch the clock. Wendy Williams on? Time for break. Dr. Oz? get ready for lunch.

Then, if the job is testing cable boxes, I can catch a movie while waiting for them to boot, then test boxes on the channel the movie is on.

Sometimes I get a laff out of what people left on DVR boxes that get returned.

TV, I spend zero hours in front of during the work week...at least usually. Might watch literally 1 hour of TV a week Mon-Fri. Weekends, if I'm not out with family or working on the house, then I can spend 4 or so hours a day in front of my TV.

Now electronic devices as a whole...my phone is glued to me during the work week. I get calls all day long, text, emails, etc for work. If I'm not at a client, I'm in front of my laptop. So I spend at least a good 8 hours a day in front of my computer/ phone...
