With the weather we are getting right now, not too long, but if in the right geographical location probably quite a while. Such as in the dominican replublic or another warm tropical climate and a nice boat, probably quite a while

Depends which we're talking about and what time of year. Gas, eh a few days as I don't actually do a lot of driving. Power, I could probably make it for a day or 2 regardless of time of year. We've got some back up power and we have back up heat.

Hi 'Keane & 'all,
So what would happen after two days ? What would you do ? It's amazing how we are so dependent on electric & take it for granted until there isn't any.

Food/Water/gas/no phones/no computers/no TV etc.

The employee's at work are still talking about it this morning & many said after yesterdays conversation that they really appreciated getting home & having power to enjoy their lives. I know that I'm thankful & don't take power or life 4granted 4>Sure

Look forward to seeing what other member's post.
Thanks for your posts & keeping the MCF 'active

*Try going a day or two without power ? batteries also lol

In high school me and a buddy of mine were starting up a school club (Outdoors club, still ran in the school to this day)
And to promote the club, we both took a gallon of water each, a few packs of trail mix, and i knife each and spent 3 days in the woods, surviving off the -elements-.
We made a shelter and caught food with snares (Actually only one snare caught something, sometimes ya just get lucky and Rabbit isnt so bad actually), Made fires.
It was a lot of fun and i bet we coulda lasted a while out there. So ill give myself a month to be realistic
