It has definitely made me aware of the errands I run - I try to plan all of the places I have to go to the same general area.

My car is my work transportation - 900+ miles per week.

California's 4.25/gallon gas does make me remember to recall all those no cost gas saving practices like steady acceleration, stay at 65 on the freeway (so hard to do..). Did it in the early 80s with the 9 mpg Ranchero GT.

Also reminds me to turn in expense reports to get reimbursed for mileage incurred for work.

the higher gas prices are, the more over time I get at work haha. I drive 113 miles round trip to work and back, but I get more hours the higher the gas goes up. The gas prices do suck though! I work for a company that builds mobile oil rigs, so the more money the oil companys make, the more oil rigs they buy

honestly, gas prices don't really affect myself. that's mainly because my gas is like 8 months old and is $3 gas because the car hasn't been out in so long.

as far as my family goes, they haven't really let it affect them, but a decrease in eating out and other things like that has happened for sure!

The gas prices here in Windsor really hurt. $5.00 a gallon for regular gas is a reality now. With premium being $5.50 a gallon. It really puts an end to cruising and spur of the moment trips. Everyone is now considering the necessity of car trips now.

But I think it's also going to hurt the market for performance cars. Like Camaros, Challengers, and so on.

Thanks `Lou for your post & inpute...The USA is now getting close to Canada's Gas Prices 4-Sure...Several area's in the USA it is already ovee $5 a gallon

I also agree that it will slow the sales of High Performance vehicles : ( I know our shipping cost are increasing everyday because of the cost of fuel & supplies...I receive increased invoices every night @ work...I am constantly updating our projected cost & it's not pretty 4-Real..I pray/hope that our governments can get this under control 4-Sure...

p.s. It's great 2 see that we have 3 member's so far that are RICH & don't have 2 worry about
the Price of `Gas ~>WoW ~> Share : )
