Default HOT OFF THE PRESSES...Pile in and check it out!!!!!!!

OK, Chaps...

I have been working on this project for a while now. Finally finished pencils and ink, scanned, added colour and touchups via Corel 12. I drew the body by hand, added the lights, wheels and MC emblem after the scan. Sorry for the low resolution...had to compress to upload. If anyone wants to have the full size version, just let me know.

Notables:

Custom Corvette-inspired cowl induction hood
Custom front fascia
Custom molded body kit
Custom paint scheme
Blackend headlights
Blacked-out tails
20" performance wheels on BF Goodrich tires
Shaved door handles
Relocated Monte Carlo Knight Emblem
'06 Monte Carlo spoiler

Last but certainly not least...MonteCarloForum.com windshield TIGHTling.

This is your brain...on MCF. Got any questions?

Looks good BiggJ....

I like the Corvette style hood.

What was your inspiration for the front fascia?

Thanks for all the compliments, guys. Montejass, I saw a picture of a conceptual design for a pontiac grand prix at an autoshow. Not sure if it was the L.A. or Detroit autoshow or even SEMA. That one had a separation down the middle of the fascia and the car was metallic orange. I originally had the separation as well, but decided to make lots of ventilation for an intercooler!! I like Chip Fooose's design philosophy of making an after market design look like it came from the factory. It should be a seamless integration.

If anyone else wants to have a crack at a design, here is the blank shell. I'd like to see what someone else can do with it. If I were to change one thing...I'd like to see mesh grill covering the inlets on the upper and lower fascia. Like Street Scene's speed grills.

That's a nice one. Do you know if that is that a production piece or a custom job? I have never seen a hood like that before.

nope it is a one off. i emailed him the min. i seen it and was trying to find out where to get it.

But he was real kool and told me the story on how his buddy a body man did this for him .

also sent me a link to where to find the hood scoop its self. it is a metal scoop and it is cut down to fit on to the hood then welded and molded in to his hood.

said about the total cost was like 700.00 complete. I would rathe rspend the money on this style then the other one LOL

Im talking with a gy right now to see if he can repop the scoop for me in the right size. he dose body work over here and dose alot of custom stuff. He said he would have to try it to find out . SO hopefuly this spring he might have it on the car. So im looking for a paint idea also. this is why i thought of the fire and ice idea. i have flames on the car now so it just kind of hit me LOL
I was goign to get flames airbrushed on the front of it like the Jeff gordon edition of our cars. but it was bitter sweet. like and dislike. thing.

Is it a V-8? or maybe a V-10? Is it tranverse or conventional? Maybe a Mid-Engine design. Is it a AWD or RWD? Just my brain on MCF.
