Congrats Mel, wow 5k miles? Bet it's 10 more years to hit 10k and it will still have the original spark plugs. LOL, cream puff!! I'm at about 75,000 or so on mine, original owner.

WOW MEL! I could not imagine only having 5K on a car I've owned a few years. But that's part of what it takes to keep a ride looking show room sharp!!

I don't even remember mine turning 5000 miles.

 

I have changed the once a year so that's 7 times so far.

I think it's great that you are able to save your Monte & keep it in your custom garage. I could not do that > I'd just have to take it out everyday that the sun was out & the roads dry & clean...

I would not have the willpower that you do...I've seen to many super rides that are just for show & never `go (I don't understand that ?)
Monte Carlo's are meant to `be driven (LOL 4-Sure)...

Wow, so that's about 650 miles per year.

Mine's about to roll 86k miles; that's with its first 5.5 years as a DD. Car doesn't look like it has half that many miles on it. As of today, I've put just 1,757 miles on the Monte this year; majority of that is driving to car shows and cruise-ins. I do take it to work, etc. on nice days once and a while.
