I have no idea why they don't like any of my '57s?

They gave one of the "Best Unfinished" awards to a guy with a Rat Rod.

Sorry, but a Rat Rod............... IS finished.

are tehre a lot of them in your area. i odn't knwo about you guys, but there are tons of 'stangs in my area, so the judges are burned out on them. then when a nicer one shows up the judges almost pay it no mind :/

Could very well be they see too many. So they are (Heaven forbid) used to looking at '57 Chevies?

You know it could be I drove something they weren't used to seeing me in, so they thought I was someone else and they thought, "Hey he looks kind of cool so let's give him an award."
(goes along with calling me "Mr. Wyatt")

Last month we drove close to 50 miles to a cruise-in we go to every summer. Got there, they weren't having any cruise.
Drove home, I said I wasn't setting around all evening so back in the car and off to another cruise-in. This one they were having.
I wasn't out of the car 10 minutes, still wiping the '86 Monte down and had three different people ask, "Where's your '57?"

So see. People are too used to seeing me in a '57.
