I pressure washed my sister's wheels on her Impala because she doesn't take good care of it. (The only time it's washed is when I wash it, and I don't live in the Poconos and she doesn't live there anymore either) The "chrome" peeled off one of the tires from the pressure. That was enough for me to NEVER take it to my car for anything. I feel like if there's a weak spot, the pressure washer WILL find it and rip it a new one.

That's why I don't use my pressure washer on my car.

Actually, if memory serves me, I think the instructions mention something about possibly damaging paint on houses and cars.

I saw a bunch of Pittsburgh posts on here so I gotta tell yinz guys, Globe Car Wash over here in Moon Twp. has the best car wash in the world. they have someone pre-spray your car before you go in, it's not touchless but they keep all their flappers and brushes clean (I've seen them spray them regularly) and they have a team ready to hand dry as soon as you roll out. they even do the jams! for an additional $5 they shine up your tires for you. they're pretty awesome. P.S. I am in no way associated or affiliated with Globe Carwash of Moon or it's parent company ect. ect.

One of the touchless washes is how the new decal on the Pace car got damaged. It must have been the water pressure that did the damage?

This was right after we drove up to western MI to attend the car show with Wayne and Lady T. We hadn't even made it home yet from the trip.

I prefer the touchless washes as I've had paint damaged from the washes with the large whirring brushes.

Vincenti, we have a car wash like that not too far from me.

You get out of the car, and they pre-spray your car to get it wet before it goes through an automatic car wash. When it comes out the other end, a team of employees hand dries the outside, cleans your door jambs, and cleans the inside of the windows. For a few bucks extra, they'll vacuum the interior also.

The touchless car wash I go to at a local Sunoco station has the guy with the spray wand before you enter. But they pretty much just spray your front bumper, and hit any large bird poop spots. They don't wet the entire car like they should.
