nope, only wash the monte @ home. there is a no touch one here in brooksville FL. if its touch free its probably hi pressure right? i think that would take a wax job right off. and i wouldnt dare go to a do-it ur-self one or the others, who knows whats in the sponges.
We have one of those near me. I'm not a fan. You never know how clean the water is being used, and the amount of air being blown to dry the car, what if some dust gets picked up in that? or a rock, etc. There are a lot of elements that could chip/scratch the car.
Plus if you have an open intake, you never know if that will get wet.

I'm with RickAKATed. I wouldn't worry too much about stuff getting into the system and damaging anything.
We have different types of touchless carwashes here in town.
There's the one type that your car sits stationary and a huge arm moves around your car. I tried that one once. Didn't care for it. Didn't do a very good job.
The one I use is the other type where the car moves slowly through the carwash. The one I use is at a local Sunoco gas station, and does a pretty decent job.
In good weather, nothing is better than washing it myself. But in the winter time, that's not an option obviously. Especially since I don't have a garage.
I refuse to use those coin operated do-it-yourself car washes with the foaming brush and spray wand. Like washing your car with sandpaper.

I keep a few microfiber cloths in my trunk. Rinse the brush off like JJ said, and then I lightly let the brush get soap all over my car. Then I take the microfiber and scrub away. Then I rinse off with the "spotless" rinse, which is low-pressure.
Same here. During the winter months, it's the only option. I'm afraid to use one of those brushes in the DIY places though since my car is black. I just feel like that thing is going to scratch the crap out of my car.
I was wondering... I have a pressure washer. Has anyone used on of those in their drive way to just get some of the loose stuff off the surface and how'd it turn out?
