I was driving in lunch hour traffic and went through a light that had just turned yellow as i passed the line, the car in front of me stops all of a sudden. So I slam on my brakes and came to a stop without hitting them ( Thanks to my slotted and cross drilled rotors). I look in my rear view mirror and notice the car behind me wasnt stoppin or slowing down. So I braced myself of impact. Well needless to say she hit. So I put my Imp in park, got out to see what damage was done. Heres the damage.

My fiberglass rear lip is cracked, passenger side muffler/pipe is bent down on my corsa exhaust, and she knocked off the Y pipe going to the Cat. converter.

When the cop arrived, She tried to tell him it was all my fault cause of my sudden stop . But in the end, she got a ticket for careless driving. And I drove away.

 

damn that sucks. atleast you should be able to get all the damage easily fixed

 

..Sorry to read that you got Rear Ended, but happy 2 read that you are OK...I hope she has insurance & that she will fix your RearEnd better then it was b-4

That really bites. I am glad that you are ok. There may be damage that isn't visible. You will need to have that checked out before you settle on the damage.

Glad you got away okay. Did you atleast send something through the radiator of the other car?

Hate to talk bad about people who rear end... because you just never knwo when you're going to not be paying attention for that split second one day and be on the giving end of that.
