Default Google Street View Thread

Google street view was in Windsor back in april and may of last year taking new pictures. They drove past me a few times in different parts of town. They finally got the new pictures posted this week.

They got me standing with my Monte in my driveway at home. That one was easy to find. I haven't found the other two yet. Simply because I forget exactly where they were taken. They also might not have been recording when I saw them.

Here's my Monte and I in my driveway. Finding my car in my driveway is easy. Actually taking a picture while I'm standing next to it was a bonus for me.

But let's use this thread to post pics of your vehicle(s) on google street view. Bonus points if you were driving it at the time.

For some odd reason.. I can no longer copy and paste photos to the forum to enlarge it sorry.

It shows up as a link...

How does one find out if there are pics of them driving their Monte or if its pic was taken anywhere other than their yard?

My town is so small that Google doesn't know we exist. I even checked the address at work and they must have taken it on a Sunday because my car was not there and it was daylight. That is the ONLY day my car is not here...lol

I know my car was at my old work, I'll have to search for it when I get home.

Well since streetview has never been passed my house, i'll do the next best thing, satellite picture. My old monte and horizon at home, seems we were away on vacation as the motorhome is gone and what i think is my old monte at work.

Google Street View was last updated in 2013. Looks like their camera is mounted higher (at one point, I could see to my back yard a little, this time I can't and at the cam's angle, a tree branch obstructs the only chance to see the back yard where the cars are at).

And the satellite view is on Google is when the trees are all green, so nothing to see there. But I went to BING and it must have been fall time...

In one angle, you can see the Monte under the cover, my wife's Impala and I'm pretty sure my old '94 Grand Am (I sold that car in late summer of 2012).
In another angle, no one is home, just the Monte under cover (and in that second angle, you can see the wife's Mustang under cover, under an over hang next to the garage).

Before I get asked "why is the Mustang and Monte outside when you have a garage", that garage has the '84 Camaro inside it (the Camaro is in pieces all over the garage amongst other stuff).
