This thread is a fail just by what the title says. The number one rule of modding is fix all the problems first then add custom work cuz a modded car wont do u no good when its broken down on ur drive way unable to move

Im guessing that money is from the dent you got in your car? You're going against yourself a bit here, as you were very upset that it happened and now suddenly you dont care?

Depends how big of a sub you go, my setup is perfectly fine on my stock alternator. No lights dimming when the bass hits.

The check is for the dent repair so I would at least try to get the dent out first. Maybe you can find someone to fix it cheaper and then you'll have some money left over to play with

everyone is claiming its gonna cost the check or more and it's aggravating. the last guy said something about hooking to the frame to tow it out. and then he said id take the check and just leave it. i have gotten kind of use to it and yeah it bugs me but it has no mechanical isssues from it just cosmetic. me and my dad are gonna try and pop it back from inside then decide anyways my grandmother gave me a 200 dollar check for graduating im can use 99 of it on the subs and not cut into the repair check

Maybe the subs will rattle the dent back out.

But really, if you're cruising around in a dented up 5th gen with subs loud as hell, you will get some pretty funny looks. Just sayin.
