Default GM switchblade for monte carlos

hey guys, i know ive posted about this before. but i figured id give it another shot! i really like the new Chevy SwitchBlade keys and im wondering if its possible to buy one and have it reprogrammed to work with our 6th/7th Gen Monte Carlos.

Doubtful but they do make switchblades for our cars but there ugly, ill look for it again, came across one when i got my chrysler one

That's the one thing I actually hate about my new Camaro. That key is so awkward and annoying

I'd imagine it would be annoying, having that entire thing stick out from the ignition.

I prefer to keep my fob separate, helps when I warm up the car, I can just lock & unlock it from the outside.

thanks for the feedback you guys. i like the fact that i could just take that with me and not have to carry a keyring around seems like itd be simpler

I think I may actually get that lol not sure if it works with Montes tho. don't see it in the compatibility area.

It's actually more annoying to me. If you only want to carry a key sometimes and not all of your other keys, then buy a quick-release for your keychain.

That's how I have my Monte key attached to all of my other keys, so when I'm driving around I don't have all of the weight on the ignition cylinder.

The switchblade is annoying because it is so bulky that it's hard to even add keys to it, so I wind up carry the Monte keys along with me just to have all of my house keys and stuff too haha.

I like the idea and they're cool, just not sure how well it would work.
