GM - Ford Closing Stock Prices - 11/11/08
Here's the bad news for the Auto Industry.
At todays closing bell.
NYSE Price per Share.
GM $2.92 (Two dollars ninety two cents) with the trend in the Red.
Ford- $1.80 (One dollar eighty cents) with the tend also in the Red and declining.
Heavyweight General Motors Corp.' (GM) shares hit a 65-year intraday low as automotive stocks slumped Tuesday.
The declines come as investors remain concerned about the viability of GM and other auto makers, putting pressure on suppliers that rely on them and raising fears the suppliers may not get paid if any of the auto titans seeks bankruptcy protection.
Shares of GM were recently down 15% to $2.88. The stock earlier hit $2.75, its lowest intraday level since 1943. Meanwhile, Ford Motor Co. (F) dropped 9.2% to $1.75.
