This is going to sound really dumb. At work I carry both my Blackberry and my iPhone plus a Nextel radio. All three have the time and date on them. My watch battery died a little while ago and I walked across the kitchen to see the wall clock. I also oftenly go to the shop for the wall calandar for the date. It doesn't matter what new technology bring if you are still bound to old habits.

So true Gregg. I can't make myself rely on my cell phone for the time. It's still just easier for me to look at my wrist than to pull the phone out of my pocket. Habit I guess.

There's a few people at work that put a standard wrist watch through a belt loop of their pants, and wear it pocket-watch style. Just don't like having a watch strapped to their wrist, and don't want to keep going to their phone for the time.

I don't even think about the time or date being on them.

I use my old school calculator, a hard copy calendar and my wrist watch for my daily work life, the hell with technology. But I do like my DIC in my 06 Monte Carlo.......

DIC= driver information center........

Kerry I did it in Vermont, the hills were taller and the snow was deeper. Vermont is the Green Mountain State. Lol. Are those young wippersnappers calling us old?

I like how you added in the translation of "DIC".

BTW Brendan, I'm sure you already know this. But 99.9% of all forum threads on every forum on the net get hijacked at some point. It's nothing personal. Just how conversations progress.

What watches were we talking about again? Crux?

See? I may be 40 and old, but I remembered that.
