I'm the opposite of a Kicker fan, but those are a great upgrade to what you have now.

You'll need to make sure your amp is 2 ohm mono stable though.

If I remember your other thread you posted that you got your existing amp/subs from an auto parts store... A lot of those systems are mono 4 ohm amps pushing 2x single 8 ohm subs wired together to a 4 ohm load, and they will go into protect if you connect the Kickers and this is the case.

The 2 ways to know are if the amp actually says 2 ohm stable, or you can check the magnets of your current subs to see if they are marked with a 4 or 8 ohm stamp.

If it's 2 ohm stable then you can just swap boxes.

I had those Kicker's in a Kicker box with the large side port (Kicker 07DC104). Wasn't too bad, but it was a downgrade compared to my P2s that I ended up putting back in.. They were only $120 for both subs and the box so that's why I bought them quickly from OnlineCarStereo lol. Sold out everywhere pretty quickly and now discontinued. I put them up on craigslist and sold them really quickly. This was a few years back. Still good subs for the money

Good subs for the money! Like they've said, nothing spectacular, but they are nice subs
