At most car show people say how did I put the V8 in there when I tell them GM did it they say they never knew.
RWD Cars pose no threat to me I beat them all the time at car shows

Yeah the quarter mile thing was funny. I am a camaro nut! I have owned so many I couldnt even remember them all. There may have been a RS but no SS. Also the iroc and z28. The only thing I hate about fwd is the torque steer. My 06 cobalt ss is terrible to pull out and floor it too pass in third gear. It wants to pull like crazy, especially if the road is not even. The 07 monte ss, I have only stomped once in a turn and did not like that either, the wheel wanted to jerk around but that was the only time I did it and it was a ling time ago.

now if this was done by someone else b4 i got the car idk but if so they did a really good job with it because it had a factory look to it all
GM didn't have factory side pipes on camaro's they had them on corvette's somebody must have installed them on your camaro you have pics.?

96 Eagle Talon Turbo ( FWD ) ( top speed 165 MPH )
01 Chevy Monte Carlo ( FWD ) ( top speed unknown so far )

all speeds were documented on a 1/4 mile track as i do not like to street race where innocent people can be hurt or killed.

these vehicles were all stock and as you can clearly see the FWD cars simply dominated..
also the FWD had more potential for upgrades without doing a complete engine tear down.
look at the years of the cars, the newer they get the faster they are because of technology, I own both fwd and rwd cars and you can make both fast but when it comes to "real" power I stick with a built carbureted sbc rwd car. I built my 1982 camaro for $7800 with the cost of the car included and it has 654hp and runs 9.61 in the quarter. NOW, i like both fwd and rwd but build a fwd car for that price that's that fast including the cost of the car...you can't do it.

Well its easy for fwd cars to be fast, I love my monte. But for having A LOT of fun, rwd is nice.
Easy to do power stands
Easy to do power slides
You can fit bigger tires
Transmissions aren't a HUGE weak point
No torque steer
Stanced wheels don't look gay
