Morning guys. Teammate is on home time so I'm solo now. Picking up a load in a couple hours so I'm finishing up some laundry at the terminal. Flipped my sleep pattern too, but 0500 in Oklahoma means I was up at 0300 here in Cali. This load is going to Illinois so that'll be some good miles. I'll be there Monday morning.

It'll be really weird driving during the day and sleeping at night though, that's for sure.

Hope y'all are good. For those NASCAR fans, go check out my Chase for the Sprint Cup thread and add your Chase predictions. Curious to see who everyone thinks will win.

Morning all and happy Friday. Getting a few thing done on the Grand Prix and the Monte before cruising the Coast and hopefully getting to a cruise night this weekend. Doesn't looks good more rain is predicted. This year has been bad for car shows and cruises way to much rain. Have a great day all

Good morning guys.

Down in the 50s again this morning but suppose to make it up to 80 degrees today.

Girlfriend and I are going to the Michigan game tomorrow vs. Colorado. Michigan is ranked 4th overall, 2-0 on the season and is 114-17 in points scored vs. against.

I think I'm going to be in the market for a car come spring time. I think I'm going to go the trainer route at work and will park a vehicle at the yard in Illinois so that I just park my rig and go home when I'm in between students. I'll be driving the pickup during winter for obvious reasons, but during the warmer months I'll want something that gets better fuel mileage.

So I'll be looking at Montes if I can find one at a reasonable price (and with a 3800). If not, probably going to look into an Altima/Maxima or Camry.

Good afternoon all!

I am hopefully selling my Dad's Suburban today. It's a '94 Custom with 430,000 miles on it. I hate to sell it but it aint moved since he passed 3 years ago. I just crank it and drive a mile or 2 every few months. I wish I had time to restore it and do some mods... it would make a killer hot rod, 2wd, 350, posi rear end.

Afternoon everyone, two other supervisors have birthday's today and this coming Sunday so we are having a pot luck lunch and cake in the office today also doing interviews with new perspective employees.

Looks like the wiring transplant was a success on the Grand Prix but when the battery died it automatically switch to miles instead of kilometers so it threw the wife for a bit of a loop when she was driving to work yesterday lol, so I changed it back for her

I hope you all have a great day

My Dad has a '94 Suburban too! K1500 Silverado trim, roughly 215,000 miles, original 350 (untouched), rebuilt the transmission several years ago. Those things are tanks. His has sat outside for 20/22 years of it's life and isn't really that bad considering. The bodies can completely rust away and that 350 will still run like a champ lol!

I used to have a 93 Burb. Never stranded me except when I went through a slew of starters, but man that thing was a gutless turd pulling anything. I put a ton of miles on it though and I never had any problems getting from point A to point B.

Daddy's suburban pulled stuff great. But it is sold now. I already miss it!
