Evenin guys. Monte is safely home. I had forgotten just how much I missed my 04. So nice to finally have a Monte again.

 

Saturn SL2 i think the tranny is going out. it has 3 codes in the computer for shift solenoids. We were going down the highway tonight and it clunked and just fell on its face had no power at all. the service light came on so i popped it in neutral for a little bit and slowed down. The light went off after a little bit so i put it down in 2nd and it shifted down thankfully and drove fine on the way home. we will see tomorrow if it breaks down on the way to work.

 

Zach, I'm surprised you don't let the gf use your Monte!

I'm just in a semi love/not really hate relationship, but the 99 Monte I have now runs pretty freaking great. I'm not sure what is gonna go on it first? It runs like a beast on the PA turnpike...... I would trade my 06 for 2 5th gens in great shape tomorrow.

 

Chris, I'm in the same boat with my 5th gen. I'm wondering what is gonna go first has 137k miles. I'd be happy if I get a year out of it commuting, providing It doesn't get hit first, jersey drivers are nuts
