Good Morning Sgt Miller `Greg,
Is it a required military run, or a personal choice to keep in shape ? I love running, especially running the beach , Now I run the warehouse all night..(sometimes, ride my skateboard: ) How far do you run ? I hope it's not in full military gear 4-Sure...

Wish you a Great `Day & WeekEnd...Are you adjusting to the
night shift ?

It's a military run and a personal choice. I am getting older now and I have to work to keep in the shape that I used to be in. I won't say that I enjoy running, but I do enjoy spending the time with my troops. Today we will probably only do four miles or so. No military gear at all. Just our Physical Training uniform.

Still not completely adjusted to the night shifts. If I could maintain my sleep schedule on my days off I would be fine. With four kids, it doesn't happen.

Thanks `Greg, for your reply...It's great that you don't have to run in full gear or with boots on ...I'm surprised with four kids that you can even have the energy to get out of bed You need to build a sound proof room 4-Sure...
I love kids, but four could wear you out in a hurry...
Wish you a good run & a good day & some good rest.
Oh, do you do the cadence while running..? The bum's & I use to run with a retired Marine Drill Sgt & we learned to sing and answer him as we ran...It was fun, but he was TUFF on us...He taught us how to march/run military style

Cadences are good for beginning runners and building esprit de corps. It helps you breathe even when you feel like you can't. For the daily PT, we normally don't call them. Too many spouses on the post that like to sleep past 6. I am getting ready to conduct shift change now... Have a good day all!

Morning Monte Masters!

Yes we are masters of our Montes! Great to be home and Friday!

Elected not to drive the 2 hours one way to uncle's funeral I have spent 10 hours in a Dodge Avenger in the past two days. Called mom and she fully understood.

Working from home, going to get the Deuce ready for a charity car show tomorrow ( Welcome - Kozminski Charity Car Show ) After the car show we goto the Blues fest downtown Lansing with another couple from wife's work. Going to be a busy but fun week end. I will get pics and bore you guys as always

You all have a great week-end I know I will!

Good Morning Space, SGT Miller. I'm om my 2nd day off out of 4. Stayed up all day yesterday after work. At my age it's getting harder & harder to do that. Now That the weather has cooled down. I walk 3 miles a day on my days off. I do enough walking at work on my work days. The rest of this month Oct & Nov then I'm done with work till May again. Busy day here in Mn. Grand kids coming over 9 & 11. Off to an RV show. Then dinner with them. Sounds like a great day
