Delta IV rocket launch scrubbed for technical problem

CAPE CANAVERAL -- A Delta IV rocket scheduled to lift off Thursday was scrubbed after a technical issue forced engineers to reset the launch.
The launch window was supposed to open at 8:27 p.m. Thursday.
An issue arose with the helium pressurization system at the launch pad.

United Launch Alliance said they did not have enough time to troubleshoot the problem, and get the rocket fueled in time for the launch window.
The rocket is carrying a Wideband Global SATCOM satellite for the U.S. Air Force. According to the United Launch Alliance, the satellite was designed to enhance communication systems for troops in the field.
The launch will now take place on Friday at 8:27 p.m. One upside to this is that weather will be better for launch -- weather forecasters are predicting 80 percent favorable weather.
The Beachbums will be there to celebrate living & watch the rocket blast into space (wow)

You all have a great Memorial day weekend but remember those that made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation including those widows, widowers and other family members of the fallen that had to pick up the pieces of their life and carry on.

I know many who have served and sacraficed there lives for our freedom!
There always in my Heart! I recently lost an Uncle who served/passed on... last year on Memorial Day! So, This weekend is Especially Special to me!

42 degrees out.. and sunny... I will be working on the Lawn Mower and Monte today!
