Also, funny story, I wet to Advanced Auto Parts AND Autozone to have my codes scanned, and it turned out that my P1811 hard shifting code wasn't there! Sure as heck the P0420 emissions one was present though. It's weird because my car was hard shifting just yesterday and even today a little. I wonder if the computer needs more time to confirm the P1811 after the battery was unplugged a few days ago. I drove long (far) enough for the emissions system to check itself out, but I don't think the hard shifting code has appeared just yet!!
depends on the scanner really. alot of the mini CEL scanners don't read those codes, but something like the big one that does ABS codes and live data, that one reads alot of misc codes.

Evening all, stress levels through the roof as always. Work sucks as there isn't enough help to do the work. Id love to walk away and never come back. I need a way to destress or im gonna blow one day. So frustrating here and its only getting worse each day.

Rick!

(I would have posted a cake for you but couldn't find one big enough to hold all the candles)

Keane, do you have any relaxing hobbies? Play guitar? Tinker with cars or electronics? Amateur radio? You need to find an outlet...

For purchaseing my BarstoolRacer this afternoon. Im happy to say I will be shipping it out to him on Monday June 10th. The shipper said it will take 3 days to deliver to his location.
As sorry as I am to see it go.... Its gonna be a huge financial help for me
to get my car finished for the Monte Nationals!

Have a Great Evening EV1!

Last summer, an Autozone scanned my codes, and the hard shifting code showed up. I don't know why it didn't show up this time.

And Stumpmi, that's really awesome that you were able to sell the BarstoolRacer to someone on the Forum. You know it's in good hands!

Just getting caught up a little.
- Rick - Happy B-Day man!!!
- Justin - Keep up the good work on kickin' the habit. My wife had to resort to chantix (sady after 2 years of being smoke free turned back to it, but she's planning on quitting again, every day is a fresh chance)! Good luck!
- Jen - The new shirt from the wife goes well with the Monte
- Lou - Wishing you the best on the new home man!
- Dub - Wish I had an answer about the hard shifting, but I did give you some input about the P0420 code in your other thread.

To all - THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!!

you could take up fishing, that's always fairly relaxing, helps take your mind off life, lol.

i'd invite you down target shooting, that's always a great way to kill some stress, but with the ammo shortage right now i'm not shooting too many targets these days (except tomorrow )
