morning all. have been so busy lately between work and other projects i havent been able to check in . I hope everything is well with everyone. hopefully i will be able to get caught up this weekend.

 

Mornin guys. Just dropping in before bed. Just looking into some things for the 78 I'll start working on when I get back from Fort Knox. Big thing is the silencer box delete so I can fit a stock hood on there. The Vortec motors in the late 90s (there's a 98 Vortec 350 in there now) had a silencer box that's fairly tall. My buddy (who I'm buying it from) modified his hood to make it fit but it's still fiberglass. It looks sharp from the outside but doesn't look that great looking at it from the inside. I prefer the stockish looking hoods anyway. After some research though I've found a pretty simple way to delete the silencer box without messing up performance.

Anyway, I'm off to bed. I'm really looking forward to messing with this car. Eventually it will get the Tremec 5 speed that's now in the 73 while the 73 will get a T56 6 speed.

Get the keys to the new house today. When I went through the house yesterday, I found that the guy I bought it from stole three expensive light fixtures inside the house, and replaced them with $10 porch lights from walmart.

 

Morning everyone. Working from Home today. Will pick up the Deuce from Artragious studios and take her to Mason Auto Body for clear coating. This ends the painting for the Deuce. Next year I want to lower her about 2 inches and get a better AMP and speakers

I too have an E cigarette thats certainly not the same as
a cigarette...since it doesnt have the carcinogens that cigs have.
Which I believe our bodys crave more than the Nicotine!

Good morning . Got up to a pleasant surprise! My daughter brought over donuts & coffee for me . Then got about 12 text messages wishing me a Happy Birthday! Makes an old guy feel pretty good this morning . Now I'm off to get my drivers license and tags for the Monte !. Hope the Sun finally comes out today.
