It's cloudy here suddenly. The entire region is all dried out and baking right now. If this is June, I really hate to see August.

 

I was a couple blocks away from a 7-11 when my tire pressure warning light came on. I figured it was just the front tires that needed topping up. Yesterday, I noticed my front tires were slightly low. But was nothing to really worry about. So I stopped at 7-11 to top them up. When I looked at the passenger side, the right rear tire was almost completely flat. That's when I noticed the nice, shiney, nail sticking out of the tire. Tried putting air into it until I could get to the tire shop. It took air, but leaked out almost as quickly as it went in. Luckily the tire shop was nearby. All is good now.

The tires are a few years old. They're Toyo Versado LX all-season tires. I bought them before I got my snow tires. They're gonna need to be replaced soon. When I do, I'm going with performance tires.

 

`Lou, thanks for your reply & I was happy 2 read that you were able to get it repaired & not have to buy just one new tire I think good tires, like good brakes are a important/good investment.

There sure is a lot of junk on the roads that fall on the highways from construction trucks etc.. I get nervous when I follow behind pickup trucks with a load & nothing is tied down ...It's dangerous out there 4-Sure...What `if..I think it's time to party & enjoy `life...

I've seen many surfer's just throw there boards in the back & never tie them down, and then end `up flying out & getting smashed...I treat my board as if it were gold & always make sure it is secure...

p.s. I wish I could be laying on my board in the ocean right now 4-Sure....Waves are down, but I'd be happy just out there floating around right now 4-Sure...."2 dare to `dream in SpaceVision"

days like today, if im at work i love stopping in the coolers for a quick break. One convienence store around here had a walk in cooler, man that was like heaven! Space, the place we went to for dinner was near Intercourse,PA. It was in a place called Bird In Hand, PA. I was in intercourse earlier in the week. The dinner we had was an family style amish feast. You sit at a table with some people you dont know and they just bring on the food. Was pretty good. Now im sitting here surfing the web(slowly) deciding if im done fo the day or not.
