Morning all, just go to work, busy weekend, back to the 50's car show this weekend, having jack's birthday party sat, and fathersday... Jack turns 2 on monday 
I have been to Mackinac Island years ago, would be a beautiful place for a wedding, not a big island it's somthing like 8 miles to walk/ride around the island when we where there we rented bikes, have a good time! and eat some fudge while your there

Happy Aloha Friday! Been a long week. Really looking forward to this weekend. My daughter is coming back from school for the weekend. And she's bringing The Boyfriend. We met him very briefly once before. I'm taking him to play golf with a couple other friends Saturday morning. I have to figure out if his intentions are honorable or if I need to scare him away.
The wife's Monte is having a coolant leak fixed today at the shop. I apparently damaged the *&*$#$ coolant elbow at the rear (passenger side) of the lower intake manifold when putting the manifold back on. That elbow gave me no end of grief when I was trying to re-install the lower manifold. I thought the lower intake manifold gasket may have been damaged and leaking, but the mechanic insists it's just the elbow. I'm praying that he's right. I learned a lot doing the upper / lower intake manifold gasket replacement myself over the weekend. I could replace that elbow myself, but I want to be fair to the shop. Need to support my local mechanic. I'd hate for him to go out of business; then I'd be stuck with the dealership for big repairs I can't do myself.
Chibi - How are the brakes? Is your car up to a trip to the Poconos?

I haven't noticed ANY change in my brakes, the car still stops as well as it ever did, it just sounds like... hmm..
I guess it sounds the most like a baseball card in a bicycle spoke (for those that did that), just pretend the baseball card is also metal lol.
But it doesn't make the sound all the time. I will definitely check it out when I have the wheels off before I paint my calipers, but right now I am at a loss at what it could be.

Dave, im sorry to hear about your wifes monte... I tried posting a hint to help you fix the elbow, I guess you didn't get It in time.
I take off the waterpuump manifold to get mine on... install manifold then waterpump manifold with elbow in it because it just slides right on in the angle it'll go anyways.

Good morning all, good to hear everyone is doing good Space.
Dave good luck with the Daughters boyfriend, just remind him you aren't afraid to go back to prison. lol
Working on the house today trying to get things done so I can get it finalled next week. Electrician is supposed to be here this evening to finish his work, bed being delivered today. Need to make a couple of quick changes to my paper and email it to my professor for the class I just finished. Tomorrow I have to get up at 4 am and drive over the mountains for class from 9-5. I do it again next saturday and then I am done with classes and just need to finish my project and submit it and school will be over for me for a long time.
