Dave the 4 of July fireworks were amazing this year. They shot like 22000 shells in 40 mins for the grand finale and promise next years will be bigger and better because it is the 50th year of the festival

Happy Friday all !! I am taking this weekend off no car shows for me there is a big one in sisters Or but the cutoff for that one is 1989 so i think i am going to grab he wife and head some where fun for the weekend . We are only suppose to be in the low 70's this weekend and sat has a 50% chance of rain so the show may get rained out any how .(it would not rain if they would just raise the cut off date to 2001 and let my Monte in!! ) LOL

I hope you all have a great weekend no mater what you do with it !!

Sounds awesome! Sorry we missed it. Our fireworks this year consisted of the store-bought variety we brought up from AL. We expended a couple dozen shots with some friends near Shelby Township. Plus the kids had fun blasting through a couple bricks of firecrackers. A good time had by all, but a much more subdues celebration than yours.

That's what we had yesterday afternoon. Some areas got about 3" in 30 minutes. I think we got about 1.5" at our house. Came up quick while we were grilling on my Sister-in-Law's patio. A crack of lightning / thunder reeeeeeally close by had my left ear ringing for a couple hours. Nasty stuff.
