Good morning, MCF!


A light dusting of snow down here overnight. Of course, everyone freaks out and closes all the schools when that happens... We got about an inch, and in some places less than that. Everybody forgets how to drive when this happens down here, too. Grocery stores get raided because old people think they're snowed in for a month, and body shops get real busy...lol

 

Good morning guys.

-2 degrees this morning - been in another deep freeze for the past several days. We got a thick frost overnight. Last snow we got was a lake effect dusting the other day - suppose to get more today. Some of these lake effect bands off Lake Michigan have been pretty heavy reaching all the way across the state. Temps have been varying pretty good for the past couple weeks. Back up to 40 degrees Tuesday.

The Detroit Auto Show starts in 2 days and opens to the public Jan. 14. Cadillac's Escala Concept will be there. The all-new Chevrolet Traverse will debut this Monday. Here's the teaser...

 

Good Friday morning to all! Looks like Texas had a cold front move in and it should also be a chilly weekend.

Amen on that! I lost a long time neighborhood freind today. He died of a heart attack unexpectedly at his home. He was only 55, he had a 11 month old grandchild. Enjoy life while you can.

It is starting to snow here, we might get 3-5". A cold snap is behind it. I t is projected to get to -1F Sunday night. I can't remember a negative temp. here!
