Morning all. Finally sorted out my SRS issue last night. Turns out that electrically the 2000 impalla and monte carlo differ from the 2001-2005. The wiring is arranged in different spots at a few of the connection harness's. Mainly the engine bay fuse block and the right I/P junction box. So when I replaced the junction box in my 02 with one from an 2000 it confused my BCM and didnt have a connection for the front impact sensor.
Went to the junk yard to grab one from an 03 last night and left with the part, a free T handle shifter and a part time job offer to make car modding money.
