Cort, very sorry to hear, things in this economy are pretty bad and the place I'm at is also very uncertain? I hope you can find something! My bills have pretty much doubled since I bought my parents house and it can pretty frustrating, hang in there Cort....


PS: can you pitch, the Pirates need a few good arms in the bullpen.....

im sorry to hear this! i know what its like to get laid off ive been there and its not fun at all. i hope everything financially and medically works out the best way possible for you!

Aw crap Cort. Sorry to hear that. No time is a good time to lose your job. But right after open heart surgery like that....... that sucks! Hope you can continue on track to getting healthy, and find another job. Good luck man. Keeping you in my prayers.

Good luck on your job hunt. It hard to find a job in this down economy. Just stay positive and something will turn up.

sorry to hear such bad news without tough times you cant enjoy the good ones my mom always says so please keep your head up and have faith and everything will work yourself out

That sucks Cort - loosing a job is devastating. I do believe things happen for a reason and now you have time to heal and go to rehab from your surgery. I was fired from a job 12 years ago right before my major surgery for my Crohns and I'm glad I was out of work cause it took me a least 6 months to recover (couldn't drive for 2 months after). I was still living at my parents house so I didn't have too many expenses.

Good luck man. I just joined amway, maybe you could look into it as a part time until you get back up.
