They were still fixing it so we couldnt go down there but i took a zoomed in pic of the area from the tower

I've taken the Daytona tour twice back in about '05 and '07 or so. Thing is, they didn't offer that tour wehre you could see the press box. We got to see the banking ,victory lane, the garage, adn that is about it.. would love to go and see the new stuff!!!


May have ot talk my brother into goign down there with me or something... he's eben a Matt Kenesth fan since 2000 when he won his first race. My brother has an eye for drivers who are going to make it a long time. He was born in '79 and the first person he ever cheered for was Mark Martin. He's starting to like Bayne and Stenhouse both.

 

We seen the banking, garage, infiend, sprint fan zone, victory lane & press box it was fun got to see alot more than i did when i was at the 500

 

Now imagine everything except for the press boxes, the stands, and the banked curves covered in show cars, car corral, and flea market. That is what the place looks like over the Thanksgiving weekend for the Turkey Rod Run. The Spring Fling car show is almost as big.
