Default Flat Black Camaro

Jordan Norwood, Brown's WR, just had his new Camaro SS painted flat black. It looks awesome! I snapped some crappy cell phone pics of it while we had it in the booth and after it was done. Also kind of neat, under the hood there is a plaque that says "Tuned for Jordon Norwood" by whoever the tuning company was. Painted with PPG paint and a hard glass clear coat (unscratchable). The only bad thing about the flat black is that no matter how clean your hands are, touching it leaves greasy fingerprints lol. This is the same paint and technique that was used to paint the 2011 BMW Frozen Black Edition M3.

I don't care for it. That too me is the old Hot Rod thing. Which I like better. But not on a newer car. Looks out of place !

I'm not sure of the price, I'm sure what we charged the dealership and what the dealership charged him was very different. Very few people have the know-how and ability to spray the flat black with gloss clear so the dealership he bought it from called us directly. I do know the price was absurd. This new version of our CeramiClear clearcoat alone costs a fortune to have sprayed.

I like. Probably wouldn't do it to my car for a variety of reasons, but I like.

I wasn't a fan either until I saw it in person. Looks amazing, the cell phone pics don't do it justice. I wouldn't want my car painted like that though, too much up keep. It shows fingerprints like you were just holding a handful of greasy mcdonalds fries lol. I'm trying to get a better picture from the guy who painted it.
