My first car was a 1996 4 door purple chevy cavalier, I hated the car awhile after I got it and wanted to get a black 2001 2 door sunfire I had found with 56k miles and it was only $5,600 back in 2008ish, after trying to convicne my grandparents who I lived with that I wanted it badly and failing I decided I was happy with what I had 2 days later my low coolant light came on, a little late I'd say, took it to the mechanics and found out the engine was blown and ended up getting the sunfire anyways I had numerous problems with the cavi, windows quit working, the wires were messed up and if u hit a bump the speedo would bounce all over, the bolts to the tranny came out, If it rained the car would loose power and die, hated the car so bad lol

My first car was a 1965 VW Beetle. It was rusted out and didn't run that well. A few miles from my house was a 1966 Plymouth Sport Fury convertible. I told my dad that I wanted that car. This was back in 1978 or 1979. He told me if I worked hard he would get me a car. I said I would work hard thinking I was going to get that Plymouth. The owner wanted 500 bucks for it. My favorite car of all time is a 1965 Plymouth Fury III e door hardtop. The differences between a 65 and 66 Fury are mostly the grille and the trunk lid and the availability of the small block 318 toward the end of the model year. He brought home the 65 Bug. I was disappointed that it wasn't the Fury but I had a car. He bought it for 40 bucks. I was happy to have a car. With this car I learned what happens when you hit the garage door casing. I learned how to charge a battery and I learned how to drive a stick. I never registered this car and I pushed it more than I drove it. I traded it to a kid in my high school for a dirt bike that didn't run. He wanted to make a dune buggy out of my bug. He promised to make the bike run. He never did and if fact when he came to get the bike he sold it to someone else for parts. My first time learning that people don't always do as they promise. It wasn't the last time I would learn that lesson.

1st project car was my '51 dodge pickup, got it when i was about 10, sold it a couple years ago. second project was my '65 buick skylark, got it when i was about 14 & still have it. 3rd project was my '84 oldsmobile custom cruser station wagon, only one i don't have pics of. sold it to purchase the monte.

1st car i actually drove was the monte, then last year i upgraded to my '00 ranger 4x4. still have the monte, just don't drive it much

the oldsmobile is the only car i never got pics of, but it was an exact clone to this one
