Ever give the hose a bath before giving the car a bath?
So I go up to lowes to get two buckets and blue coral, then to advance to get the similar version of the sham wow. I come home, start up lucy and get it into position. I fill the two buckets.. I come out and Evidently the hose had some water in it, it's frozen. Which is the first time that I've lived that it's happened. I took it off, took it into the house and put it in a hot tub full of water. So now Im waiting.

haha, i had the same thing happen, kept the monte dirty for way too long because of that. i just dragged the hose out into the sun to thaw the water, then truned the spigot on and blasted the rest of the ice out. and now the hose sleeps next to the woodstove, haha

Every time I'm done washing the car, I disconnect the hose from the house, run it down the driveway (small slope) disconnect the nozzle, go up to the part that was connected to the house, put my hand around it and just blow as much air as possible through the hose to get all the water out.
But usually I do wash the tips of the hose and the nozzle before washing my car. Also getting a nozzle with different water settings (especially one called SHOWER) is the best thing ever. I use rinse to get all the grime off, then I use shower (which is nice and light) to get all the soap off.
