Brilliant idea to toy with the cops like that. How much you wanna bet he left his valid license plate on the car. Don't think the cops can track you down that way?

 

I think he was just a good driver legitimately on the run. Otherwise he would ahve picked something that could actually overpower the cops... like something with a V8. But you can never quite guess what a stupid person will actually do...

 

i have the same model of mustang gt the standard gear ratio is the same in the police pakage crown vick they both have the 3.11 gears in the rear with the same engine and auto package. i used to work at the ford chevy mazda dealer i kinda know where they are running under the hood. chevy sells the ubder powered cars to police as well. but on majority of police cars now used by police are the crown vics or the dodge charger which both are under rated.
