Because this thread is about GM reviving the Monte... All I have to say is Shawshank Redemption is the best movie of all time... Done & done!

A bunch of us tried this a number of years ago now. I sent it to GM, and got a "we can't talk about future products" reply......

i was told by the owner of my local chevy dealer, back when they stopped making the montes, that the reason behind it was because that 4 door cars where what people wanted, and the people that wanted a 2 door car they were getting something a little more sportier/faster.
