Well I checked out the house today. It was remodeled, but it looks like it was done by an amateur. The effort was there for sure but the quality of the job was lacking. I decided to pass on the house. I have one more to look at tomorrow. Seller is motivated and the house seems nice. We'll see how it goes.

Hi Matt, that's good 2 read that it has a garage : )

One of the Seniors is here with me & he suggested that
you check with home insurance cost on the home(s) that you
are considering. Down here on the Ocean Home Insurance
is SuperSuper ExPenSive 4-Sure...Usually higher then
the house payment.
A detached garage is better for insurance, but I'm
sure U R do'in your homework on a major investment.

I remember the Large Garage you & your father built...,now
that's a Amazing Garage 4-Sure.
How's his Hot Rod ?
Look forward to seeing what you get...
Again...Super Luck 2 U..
Peace/Out

The type of loan I am getting rolls the home insurance into the monthly payment. Insurance up here is pretty reasonable.

I would love to build a garage like my fathers but I will wait until I am living somewhere that I will live for a good long while. A small one will do for now.

My dad's plymouth is coming along great, its all painted. He is wetsanding and buffing the clear now. I think he is almost done, if not he only has a few more panels to buff. He has his seats for the car, next step is to start doing the interior. I will be putting a kicking sound system in for him. He said it was ok... big mistake, lol.
