Good morning guys. It's eclipse day, how much of the sun will be blocked out where you live? We'll see 80% blockage here in SE Michigan.

Had a great time at the Woodward Dream Cruise Friday and Saturday.

Video of the new Arena from 5 days ago. 22 days until it opens!

Cool

Okay, working today from the hotel in Kearney, NE it is Cloudy to partly cloudy it should be good to view from here, they say Ravena,NE is a good place to view it and about 30 miles north of Kearney, NE.
All these little towns have a huge celebration planned and there are people that are here from everywhere. Traffic is crazy hopefully everyone will be smart and stay safe,
Time will tell Stay Safe.

It's started here, just hit its max at 2:27pm. Got to see it with some eclipse glasses a few coworkers have.

I was part of a bus tour group that went to Homestead National Monument near Beatrice, Nebraska. Tons of people, and all kinds of people, were packed in there. (If it were up to me I would've picked a different, completely rural spot.)

Unfortunately, there was also a lot of dark cloud cover up in the sky there, but as it was moving it allowed for the sun to peek thru now and then. It even sprinkled some rain on the crowd. The clouds also acted as kind of a brightness filter; you know, when the clouds are thick enough to make the daytime sun look like a white ball, and you can safely look right at it, so it that sense, it actually helped.

Overall, it was a fast-moving phenomenon, though, and we did witness the total moment for a couple minutes -- lots of cheers from the big crowd.
