Default Dog"s ! :)

Ok here a little story 4 U all. We haven't had a Dog for almost 25 + yrs. WHY ? Well we had to put down our Sheba. That hit me hard cause she was a great dog I said to my wife after that NO MORE Dogs ! But we talked about it a little before our trip to AZ for the winter. Not me as much as my wife. Sooo finally I gave in and we pick up Ozzie at an adoption at Pet Smart in Surprise, Az. We knew he wasn't a puppy. But we didn't know he was 5 to 6 yrs old either. The people running the adoption told us he was about 2 yrs old . Ya damn liers!. Not that its make a big deal now. Cause he's our a our little Buddy . He brings a lot of joy to me & my wife. But lesson learned. We felt bad having to leave Ozzie this morning. And even worst after that final look he gave us. While they were taking him in to another room. LIke SAYING .....Where you guys going . Man we both looked at each other and didn't say a word. How in the Hell can you get SO attched to something that can't even speak to you?? So its 2:30 and we have to wait till after 5 pm to pick the little guy up. I think this old Biker is getting to be a softy!

dogs love us no matter how much money we make, what color we are, male or female. they will always be your friend! they love us unconditionally. if the world and the people in it all thought and acted like dogs there would be no eleven oclock news. dogs are the best! i love mine. they are my best friends in the world!

both of my dogs died 1 month befor I came home from my last year at college. So my parents surprised me with a new dog. Im tore up from 12 years of football so I cant go jogging or anything with a big dog. I have a 5lbs teacup yorky. I know what you mean by getting attached first day home she became my best friend and sit on my lap and watches tv with me every night. For something that small just a walk around the outside of our house is all the exercise she needs.

Well after running around all day taking care of business. We get the call ? OZZIE is up and doing well. You can come & pick him up after 5 pm. And so we did. OMG he was looking like he was on his 10th beer. He was just looking so sad. But once he saw the car he was a little happier. made it all the way home before his upset stomach let go. So I walked him around the outside of the house for about 20 mins then went into the house. carried him up the 8 steps so he didn't have to strain himself. Didn't need an accident in the house. Now finally he's taking a nap. If he wasn't so damn NOSEY he'd get more sleep. So all is well here so far. He ate a little before laying down. His teeth are fantastic looking and his BAD breath is gone. Just in time for our next trip

We could all learn a few things from a dog.

Rick I'm glad that Ozzie is home safe and sound. It doesn't take long to get attached to some things. After my Angel got run over by a car a few years ago I said no more dogs for me. The girls are asking for a dog and it is so hard to tell my two princesses no. I think when Ariel is able to talk and ask for a dog telling three princesses no will be impossible. I think there will be another Maltese or possibly a Bichon Frise in my future. Due to allergies and asthma I'm limited to only a few breeds of dog.

Vishla might be a good one If you want a big active dog. Its like a wiemariner but the dog small was bred out. And it does not shed often. Says you only need to give them a bath once a month and once a week take a wet soapy rag to them.

a shi tzu would be another option for you gregg as they dont shed. We've had 2 and they're a nice size dog. Big enough to play with but small enough to sit in your lap.

The dog does look funny, but I sometimes fear when a dog approached.
