Thanks `Perry, for your post & contributions. With the price of gas climbing `up again & over $350 + a gallon > the Civic's will start selling like hot cakes on a Sunday Morning.
They are great on MPG's + reliability. I beat mine like a Timex & it kept on going...The only parts I had to replace are the one's I abused from drag racing at the track & won cheap trophies (LOL) > (on the street >I got caught) Expensive $'s lesson learned in my teens 4-Sure
What model does your wife have ? What's the average MPG's ?

Thank You!
Hi `Perry & thanks for your reply & information.
That's excellent MPG's in town 4-Sure...
The newer Models I've rode in were pretty quiet.
One of the employee's has the new Accord Sport Edition with a six speed stick & it runs quick & looks great. I'm not into four doors, but the Accord Coupe is also nice...but the one I like are over $30K
Honda is still selling great in my area & they are everywhere. They do have some competition, but competition is always good for us the customers 4-Sure...

As far as the styling, it does have appealing lines for a Honda... Couldn't own one though, need to support North American Muscle or one day, there might not be any choice...

Regrettably, yes against a bone stock L36... They have no weight issues and with a 6 speed short throw tranny we might be even off the line and that would be it...
As far as the styling, it does have appealing lines for a Honda... Couldn't own one though, need to support North American Muscle or one day, there might not be any choice...

It's hard to believe that pretty much full-sized Monte Carlo only weighs 260 pounds more than the Accord. Also the MC has 50 more HP and almost a hundred ft. lbs. more torque and it's a virtual tie in 0-60 and 1/4 mile. That MC should blow it away especially with the close weight difference.
