2014 Honda Civic Si Priced at $23,580
Hi Member's, please post your thoughts, comments. There's not many coupes in this price range. Please don't throw stones & chip the paint I've had good luck with Honda (4 what they are)...They are sure not a Awesome Chevrolet Monte Carlo....
GM Better Make us another Monte (LOL)
The 2014 Honda Civic Si remains one of the best fun-per-dollar
cars
on the market. Honda’s latest Civic Si will get a handful of styling, technology, and performance improvements, while the price will rise just $275. For the 2014 Honda Civic Si coupe, pricing will begin at $23,580 including destination fees, while the sedan will cost $23,780.
That $275 bump is hardly anything as far as price hikes go, especially considering the new Civic Si receives retuned exhaust and suspension systems, more dramatic exterior styling, standard keyless entry with
push-button start
, a standard 7-inch touchscreen display, and Honda’s LaneWatch blind spot visibility system. The retuned exhaust yields 4 hp and 4 lb-ft greater power and torque, respectively, while the upgraded higher-rate springs, dampers, and rear stabilizer bar help stiffen the suspension for sportier handling.
With the performance upgrades, power from the
2014 Honda Civic Si
totals 205 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque, courtesy of a high-revving 2.4-liter engine and a slick six-speed manual gearbox. Styling changes include a new hood, sharper front fenders and headlight housings, and redesigned taillights and side mirrors. The rear diffuser is reshaped with more rigid lines, and the rear wing takes on a slightly more angular shape.
When we drove last year’s Honda Civic Si sedan, associate editor David Zenlea was underwhelmed by the interior but smitten with the car’s driving dynamics. “[The]
Civic Si
is still a singular joy to drive,” said Zenlea. “The interplay between the high-revving four-cylinder and six-speed manual is simply perfect. The only company that does it as well is Porsche.”
The
2014 Honda Civic
Si is on sale now. The standard 2014 Honda Civic LX coupe starts at $18,980 and the sedan costs $19,180.

I'm sure it's pretty beastly. As far as civics go it doesn't look to bad. But I don't think I would ever own one. I'm just not that into civics or really anything with an engine smaller then a V8. I just love that V8 sound and that V8 torque way to much.

Thanks Admin `Mike (LOL)
LoL Admin `Mike > LOL
I was waiting 4 your post (I knew that you were going to post what you did) > LOL (Comic Sans: ) LOL
Thanks everyone for posting. I like the Si for what they are, but with their new 4 banger that has torque (it's a lot different) then their past high rev'in tart cans (LOL)...
I've driven one of the employee's 2012 `Si & I loved the 6 close ratio six speed & the handling 4 a FWD machine...Personally, I'd rather have a V8 like iMuf...

Thanks 2 all that contribute 4-Sure
Thanks `Perry, for your post & contributions. With the price of gas climbing `up again & over $350 + a gallon > the Civic's will start selling like hot cakes on a Sunday Morning.
They are great on MPG's + reliability. I beat mine like a Timex & it kept on going...The only parts I had to replace are the one's I abused from drag racing at the track & won cheap trophies (LOL) > (on the street >I got caught) Expensive $'s lesson learned in my teens 4-Sure
What model does your wife have ? What's the average MPG's ?

It's a Nice Looking car, but I wouldn't buy it or any Honda. They do not have a model that fills everything I want or need in a car. My mother owns an Odissy. It's Very Well put together, has OK Power and plenty of space. But I don't take 12 kids to soccer practice on Wednesdays, nor do I buy $500 of groceries at a time.
So, No Thanks! I'll stick with my Monte Thank You!
