Thanks Gregg for your words & post.
I jumped online to check my mail & got several from my senior citizen friends that visit our forum & read our posts.
They know all the active member's & often ask me about them when I see them
They also enjoy this thread & have many comments, but I was happy to read from the senior that is Catholic & said she really laughed @ the Nun's on the stools @ the bar : )
But then she again reminded me that my grammar & spelling is bad & that some of my posts are really weird : ) LOL, but she knows that I'm different then the rest 4-Sure : )

Time for me to fade `out & I hope I have lots of posts to read when I awake from my ReCharge...Peace/Out from `Space

It looks like the nun's are having fun ^They sure are devoted to
their faith & it's great to see them out & enjoying themselves.

Thanks again `Britt, & it's great to
see you back online...Don't be a stranger OK
It had its good & bads. Really helped keep my sheltered & "good", if ya know what I'm talking about. I wasn't exposed to a lot of stuff until I was put into the public high school system. But there were some rough moments too because the kids had a tendency to create really harsh clicks. Nahh I never thought about coming a sister. Never appealed to me. && thanks! I'll try not to be

If anyone is offended, I shall delete my post...Just let me know..Religion can be a very sensitive subject 4-Sure...I do think some member's like to stir things `up and cause trouble...for some unknown reason to me ?

`Duane, where are the bad remarks ? I shall wait to see if Brittany PM's me & if she is upset, I shall apologize & ask her 2 4-give me & remove my post ~> 4-Sure
Nahh it's okay. That kinda stuff usually doesn't bother me. It's kind of complicated to explain what offends me. Like I was at a car show at a Baptist Church a couple weeks ago and before they gave out the awards they prayed to God and my friend Kayla who was there with me was going off saying like this is sooo boring & was being very disruptive as I was trying to pray. That kinda stuff reallyyyy pisses me off

Space I found your post humorous and don't think it is offensive.

Brittany is you have questions, study your bible. You will find the answers there as well as more questions and more answers.
Unfortunately I don't have any time to read the Bible anymore but I listen closely while I'm at Mass & it has helped me in the past in soo many ways

Hello Space; thanks for your contributions as well. Some are quite insightful because you look at things in a different perspective. Perhaps it is because of your youth, perhaps because of your experiences. In any event some are very humorous and I enjoy being able to see what you see sometimes which broadens my perspective.
You should encourage your senior friends to join the forum. After all no one said you have to own a Monte to join. Seniors also have a different perspective on things because of their vast experiences that they can share with us. A few things about this. One is they can educate. Two is that once they are gone, their experiences, advice, and insight will be lost forever. Third is that when it comes to history, history that is forgotten is almost certain to repeat itself because we have either not learned its lessons or forgotten what was learned. The last 100 years of our history has many triumphs but also many tragedies and this applies to all aspects of our lives. They can also lend us history of the automobile as many can tell us of what cars were. For instance I once bought a 1962 ****** Wagon. The seller handed me the key and the bill of sale and went into the house. I only heard it run. I didn't drive it. Anyway I put my plate on the ****** and put the key in the switch and turned it. My dash gauges came alive but nothing happened. I repeated the procedure again with the same results. I then put the truck into neutral, made sure the cluch was all the way to the floor and repaeated the procedure once again. My results were the same. I put the truck back into gear, took the key out of the switch, walked back up to the house and knocked on the door. The man answered and asked what was wrong. I told him it wouldn't start. He took the key from me and went to the truck with me getting ready to open the hood. He got in and it started right up . He shut it off and handed me the key as he got out. I got in and did everything as before and I had the same results. I said to him what is the trick. He said did you hit the starter? I said yes but it doesn't do anything when I turn the key. He said that this is an old car. Old cars have a button on the floor you step on to engage the starter after turning on the key. I learned something new about old cars that day. I tool for granted all cars used a key to start them as I had never seen or noticed any different. This is just an example.

Because this seems to relate to this thread I want to bring it up. I was raised Catholic and this is probably only an issue for Catholics but I could be wrong. I read the other day that they want to bring the Pope up on charges about the sexual abuse that has occurred in the Catholic church. They have not accused him of being an abuser but rather an en abler by sweeping things under the carpet. In the Catholic church the young are taught that Priests, Nuns, and other clergy are special and are closer to God because of their calling. They have put these clergy members on a pedestal right up there with God. The fact is that Priests, Nuns, and other clergy members are human beings just like the rest of us. They have the same needs, wants, thoughts, and urges as the rest of us. When you put people on a pedestal, and teach not to question because the human is perfect or near perfect, what you have Is a recipe for disaster. If Adults can and are taken in by all of this and allow their judgment to lapse, children don't stand a chance. We need to teach our children that if it doesn't feel right, it isn't and it doesn't matter who it is. Adults who abuse children create scars that last a lifetime.

About the ******... we had a '50 Chevrolet with a push button on the floor to start it. If you weren't careful, you'd go for the gas and nail the starter... that'll wake you up.

You are right and the truck certainly protested the mistake. My ****** had a top speed of about 50 M.P.H. And it certainly didn't like that for long. I pushed it and blew a head gasket. OOPS.
