Sorry to hear about the damage. Reminds me of when someone backed into my 95 Olds Cutlass Supreme at work (in the employee lot with a handful of cars) and of course nobody would fess up.

 

So sorry to hear Tadd... I hate it when people don't fess up to their faults. I prolby would have rose hell too...especially cuz I wouldn't have the money to repaint it all. Good luck with it, hope it turns out looking just as good as it did before!

 

Tadd, it's probably just as well you don't know. Matt brought up a good point. If you found out who it was, it probably wouldn't have gone well.

U r right Taz... JUst have to wade through the red tape of meeting with the adjuster, and having the deuce laid up for a period of time.

The claims person asked if i called the police and I explaind to him why I couldn't (police car in the middle of the family reunion ect..) He said it was not nessary to call to file a claim.

I am hoping they let me take it to my fav body shop and even pay becuse it is a custom hood with custom paint
Will find out more after adjuster looks at it.

 

Oh I was and still am pissed belive me ...Just chaneling my negative energy into getting my baby fixed now.

X2 , I know if I saw the kid that ran his bike into my 1940 chevy I would be in jail.. , There was four kids on bikes when I parked in my dads driveway and I looked out about 5 mins later and all kids gone, went out an found a big scratch on front fender..never saw the kids again when I went to my dads...LOL

 

You know it amazes me the realtionship one can devlop with a car (Including myself) It is like a child or a close pet. When i first saw the sandy mud on her I knew something was wrong and my gut just sank
