Hi `Justin & `Lou,
Hope it doesn't take them 4-ever 2 finish...Here in Florida it takes them forever to finish a road project...They work in really slow motion 4-Sure & it's always dusty or wet cement or road tar gets picked up on tires & the body of your vehicle

We hire the Simpson's 2 `do our RoadWork

Mornin' to all and Happy Birthday Zipper.

Typical morning around here (coffee, get the kid ready for school, coffee, feed the bird, coffee) but always try to set a little time off to the side to check out the forums before getting the day underway. Road construction around here is a real pain also. They recently closed a bridge a couple blocks away so we get all the traffic right past the front of the place now during the morning/evening commutes. They're supposed to break ground for the new bridge next month, but it will be mid 2013 before it is completed. Anyways, hope everyone makes a good one of it today...

Nobody likes construction work on the roads, but we all like it when its done. Being in the asphalt industry, it keeps us working and potholes taken care of. Need a bent rim? We have had 2 workers killed already this season(not from my company), one had only been on the job 2 weeks and 20 years old. Please let me remind you that most speed limits are 45 in these zones and please adhere to it. Very dangerous out there for the workers. Imagine working out there all day inches from 70mph speeding vehicles. One mistake and its all over.

Getting real tired of the rain here in Lansing MI. I did manage to get my Glowlights put on my Monte and 3 of 4 calipers painted red. But I am really aching to start an intense detail on her. (She came out of winter storage April 1st and really hasn't been cleaned up good yet. There is a car show in Coldwater MI next week and the way the weather is I won't be ready to enter her. :-(

Iam thinking about installing pontoons on her and maybe an outboard motor.
