Man I hate the cup holders in my Monte. You make a left turn. Bang there it goes on the right floor mat. No way to reach it. If you have a tall drink in there. Your always hitting when turn on the radio or moving your hand in that direction. GEEEZ! I drives me nuts sometimes.

 

the cup holders in the 6th gens arent much better. the front cup holder sucks. you cant even put a cup in there if the car is in park. and it doesnt hold anything. it does have one good holder though behind the shifter. but i feel ya on that one.

 

Did you guys say cup "holders"? Us 5th gens with floor shifters are stuck with ONE cup holder for the whole car.

 

i hate my 7th gens cup holder too....i wish my 7th gen had 6th gen cup holders

Speaking of cup holders, how bout the ones in the back seat in the fold down armrest?

 

I have 2 cup holders...

one is practical, and if the other is used, I cant shift gears.

Yup I only have 1 cup holder up front. None in the back. It doest hold drinks well I will give it that.

 

Check out the cupholder on a 4th gen Camaro... or more accurately the change holder. The diameter of a soda can and about half an inch high! I use the front cup holder on the Monte to hold the base for my GPS, back one as everyone else has said is a nice one. Chevy put a much more user friendly cupholder in the newer Impalas then they did in the Monte... go figure. Guess drivers of coupes shouldn't drink while driving?
